Canadian Wild Rice

Canadian Wild Rice is different from any other Wild Rice.  It is a long dark grain with a nutty flavor. When cooked, the grain splits to reveal a creamy white inside, giving it the luscious nutty flavor.  Cottam Gardens Cooked Wild Rice is ready to use, as a side dish, in casseroles or salad.  Something exotic for chefs to considered.  Due to our unique thermal cooking process the appearance and texture of the Wild Rice served from a can to a plate is the same as you would from freshly cooked rice in a kitchen. Unbelievable eh!
The grain is high in protein and carbohydrates. Processed Wild Rice serves as an excellent source of the B vitamins, Thiamine, Riboflavin and Niacin.

Serving Suggestions:
Stove Top:  Drain, heat in a fry pan or wok on low heat until heated trough.

Microwave:  Pour into a microwave-safe dish.  Heat on high for 2 minutes.
